Hello, it’s me, your Mother of Mushrooms! I’m 32 and based in Folkestone in Kent, England, an incredibly creative town full of art and wonder. I live here with my 8 year old daughter Luna, and my incredible partner Dan (who helps me with behind the scenes sometimes!)
How The Mushroom Babes Started
I’ve loved foraging ever since I was a little kid, and have always been obsessed with wild food and fungi. So naturally, I’ve drawn mushroom art and mushroom people on-and-off throughout my life. The Mushroom Babes actually came about at the start of quarantine in March 2020. During one of the first nights, my partner and I set each other drawing challenges to entertain ourselves in the evenings. Our first challenge was “mushrooms.”
I drew my Fly Agaric Babe, and they were curvy, joyful and I loved them immediately. I knew I had to draw more and with the encouragement of a Facebook group, I created my Etsy store, not knowing what to expect, but it was more successful that I could have ever imagined! By September of 2020, with my daughter starting school, I was able to quit my day job to dedicate myself to The Mushroom Babes full time!
Since then I have watched my follower base grow enormously, and have earned dedicated customers whose houses must be overflowing with Babes by now!
Amazing collabs!
I've also started exploring surface pattern design, and had opportunities to do some dream collaborations with amazing companies like Run & Fly and Molke!
Opening my own shop!

In September 2023, myself and my gorgeous friend Fabia H Goff opened OUR VERY OWN REAL LIFE SHOP!!
